认识了一个纽约的艺术家,mike.他主攻素描的,很喜欢他在单调的素描画面加多另外一个比较亮的颜色做搭配,画面突然出彩起来了.

     "One of my personal techniques or trademarks is putting a little of a single color in a black and white drawing.  I think it adds a certain effect that I like. "

     "Typically I work in 7 layers when drawing.  An intial sketch for placement, a basic shade layer, a tone layer, the first detail layer, a minor darkening layer, a finished detail layer, and the a final darkening layer.  That is my personal technique.  You are seeing this drawing at about layer 4, the first detail layer."

     想起我在画室画画的时候,我通常最多只刻画3-4个layer,一张画3个小时内搞定,走人,这是考试带来的弊病,因为3个小时画完之后我就没耐心再画下去. 所以很多细节都被草草处理掉了,画面就是在突出主题,当然我主体部分也没见得刻画的多好.当然其实我并不希望我的素描画的多好,我的兴趣点不在这,只是看了别人的画自己手有点痒想画而已.

     btw,He's hot and handsome.I will date him whenever possible,lol.

this watercolor and mixed mediums is another awesme work he does,he mixed many colors together but still looks great.

    Dior今年秋冬的Ready-to-wear广告真是拍的太美了, 整体的明度很高的单色色调组合起来如此和谐,这些颜色组合对于很多人来说一用的不好就显得俗气和土气,john真tm厉害.和上一季度那以圣女贞德为主题的系列比较一样采用纯色,只不过是颜色从灰色调变成很枪眼的调.从小礼服和礼服看和这季的Haute Couture采用的款式和工艺差不多,Couture系列更加惊艳点.

    突然想起在潮洲时候和faisal一起工作那段日子,omg,我很欣赏他大胆搭配布料的作法,但是有时侯把布样放一起的时候就明知做出来会很土很俗气,他还是不听取我意见偏往虎山走,结果呢,看他一次次不断要求工厂修改样衣换掉布料就知道了.很明白做为设计师是得偏执点,但总有让自己可以偏执的理由,他一直在强调他有20多年的经验.他很熟悉他的target market taste.好吧,如果我有10年的经验然后我做出他那样的作品来,我死了算了.anyway.我还是很欣赏他工作的态度,这点我不够他的50%,我有太多事情可以分心,他已经到了完全投入的境界,我必须学习下他,不过这是我唯一可以从他身上学到的,其他的,算了.I can do better than him.工作那段日子每天转了转3-4个工厂,对于他们评价就是:一群不原动脑的copycat,就算是照杂志抄,抄出来的和原版的差距,天和地.
